If you’re looking for good news to boost your holiday cheer, here’s one for you! A netizen’s post is currently going viral on Facebook after he shared his heartwarming, and quite frankly, stunning Christmas gift for his mother.
Jay Lawrence, a photographer by profession, renovated his family home’s ground floor as a gesture of deep gratitude for his beloved mom. His post currently has over 25,000 reactions and 24,000 shares as of writing.
“Mama Judith, I know this Christmas Gift is not enough for all the sacrifices you’ve made for us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your unconditional love and care,” read his caption. "Thank you for being my cheerleader. Thank you for being the secret to my lifelong success. You have no idea how much you mean to me. We're so blessed to have you in our life. You're the best mom in the world and YOU DESERVE THIS CHRISTMAS GIFT from me! I love you so much Ma and Merry Christmas!”
The act not only melted the hearts of onlookers on social media, but also impressed thousands as well after seeing their ground floor’s magical transformation.
As seen through the photos, what once was a seemingly small and cluttered space turned into an elegant and chic living area decked in shades of white and cream. Their first floor looks so different you can barely recognize it anymore from the original photos.

Jay credits the renovation efforts to his friend and Bahrain-based architect Jane Abigail Puentebella-Concina. According to the end of his caption, the other parts of the house will also be renovated some other time.
