Mark your calendars, Kingdom fans! The full second season’s officially coming out worldwide on March 13, 2020!
Along with Netflix’s announcement is the unveiling of the official season two poster, and yet another teaser video to keep viewers on their toes. Check out the short clip below, depicting Crown Prince Lee Chang, Cho Hak-ju, Seo-bi, Mu-yeong, Yeong-sin, Beom-pal, and the Queen as they head into a battle with a horde of zombies out for blood.
Netflix’s synopsis of season 2 reads: “Season two ramps up the tension with the introduction of Min Chi-rok, who investigates a suspicious murder in Hanyang. Kingdom season two continues to captivate with the story of Lee Chang’s journey back to Hanyang in search of the roots of the plague and the bloody struggle instigated by the secret plot at the heart of power in Joseon-era Korea.”
In the past months leading up to Kingdom's season two premiere, fans caught a glimpse of the new extra gory episodes to come with five thrilling teasers depicting Prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji-hoon) and physician Seo-bi (Bae Doona) as they deal with the aftermath of last season's finale.
