These IG-worthy restaurants are now officially on our NYC bucketlist!

Laureen Uy is in the Big Apple at the moment, and not only are we loving her zany outfits, we are totally gleaning itinerary ideas. From visiting iconic city landmarks to checking out the hottest eateries, the style star definitely knows how to make every New York minute count.

Being a melting pot of cultures, Laureen, and her partner, Miggy Cruz, have been treating their followers to a gastronomic world tour around the city that never sleeps. Not only does each food joint they visit offer their own distinct flavors, they also come with their own IG-worthy aesthetic, too!

Below, we list down six of the most IG-worthy food places Laureen Uy went to in New York (so far):

1. Sushi on Jones

This sushi bar’s omakase came highly rated in Laureen’s NYC food photo dump. Although the quirky neon signage makes one for the ‘gram, this place is also worth checking out in the daytime. With its bold stripes and vibrant yellow seats, it’s a total eye-catcher for your feed.

Tracing its roots to Milan, this café and pastry shop honors Italian coffee and confectionery traditions. With five NYC locations, their SoHo cafe (and its outdoor extension!) is a must visit as it boasts of quaint European sensibilities in the middle of the bustling city.

3. Cote

Korean barbeque meets classic American steakhouse? This was the ambitious crossover the makers of Cote tackled and succeeded in. Housed in a modern and ultra-hip restaurant, Laureen was “loving the vibe here” according to an IG story—and it’s easy to see why.

4. Wayan

Wayan is a French-Indonesian restaurant helmed by Chef Cedric Vongerichten.  While Laureen was raving about the lobster noodles, we can’t help but admire the sleek space that exuded both South East Asian warmth and French flair.

5. La Esquina

“A must try if you’re looking for legit tacos,” according to Miggy, the colorful La Esquina looks as zesty as the dishes they serve.

6. Sadelle’s

While Laureen, Miggy, and Tisha Aganon opted to dine al fresco by Sadelle's distinct cobalt blue exteriors, the brunch favorite’s rustic indoor area is worth checking out. Reminiscent of a chic barn house, the interiors boast of exposed brick and industrial lighting fixtures.
