Mattel is making a huge statement with their newest line of dolls that are definitely no Barbie or Ken. The toy company has launched a line of gender-neutral dolls for their young audience to enjoy—the first of its kind in America.
The Creatable World line aims to fill the gap in the market for non-gendered toys for kids. It was designed to "keep labels out and invite everyone in," according to the brand.
The dolls themselves have features that aren't determinately male or female. As Time puts it, "the doll can be a boy, a girl, neither or both." The site also reports that Mattel tested the dolls in 250 families across America, including ones with children that don't identify with a particular gender.
Each doll set also comes with different types of clothing, accessories, and even hairstyles to allow the player to customize their toy's look. Check out the videos below to see some of the looks the toys can pull off!
