If you've binge-watched the new Netflix series Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins, chances are, you've swooned over Emily's dreamy neighbor Gabriel, played by French actor Lucas Bravo, at least once.

Like many of the show's fans, you've also probably hit that 'Follow' button on Instagram (If not, his Insta is @lucasnbravo, you're welcome). But no one else will probably be a more successful fangirl than local rising star Belle Mariano. Belle was a fan of the Netflix series and particularly of Lucas. She decided to send a DM to the Emily in Paris actor and he actually saw the message and replied to her!
Belle shared a screenshot of her successful fangirling story on Instagram. In the screenshot, Belle's message reads, "Hello! I'm a huge fan from the Philippines!" To which Lucas said, "Thank you!" with matching emojis. While most fans would settle with this short IG exchange, Belle actually sent another message thanking the actor for responding to her DM and complimenting his performance on the show. The actor even double-tapped and "liked" Belle's second message.

Lucas Bravo has actually been reading a lot of fans' DMs on Instagram. He went from having a five-digit follower count to almost 600,000 followers as of writing. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Lucas shares that he tried to answer as many DMs as he could to "give back" all the love he's been receiving from fans of the series. Before Emily in Paris, Lucas appeared in various French films.
Belle, on the other hand, is currently filming for the prequel of Four Sisters and a Wedding where she stars as the young Gabbie Salazar, originally portrayed by Shaina Magdayao. Before her big break in the Four Sisters prequel, Belle has portrayed the young version of movie stars like Carmina Villaroel and Julia Montes.
