Baguio is a famed summer destination for many reasons—there’s the cool highland climate, the horseback rides, and the renowned Bencab Museum. But no trip to Baguio is complete without taking a trip to restaurant and cake shop Vizco’s for a taste of their famous Strawberry Shortcake, which is soft and creamy and full of juicy fresh strawberries. While we’re all waiting for the chance to be able to travel safely again, you can still get your fix without even leaving your house. Love, Strawberry now delivers their famed creations straight from Baguio around Metro Manila, including the Strawberry Shortcake (P1,080/six inches, P1,375/eight inches), Ube Cake (P920/six inches, P1,130/eight inches), Mango Cake (P920/six inches, P1,130/eight inches), and Carrot Cake (P1,610).
Love, Strawberry delivers straight to your doorstep on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. For orders, just message your name, contact number, delivery address, mode of payment (they take payments via GCash or Unionbank or BDO bank deposit), and orders to Love, Strawberry’s Facebook page. You can also opt to pick up your orders from their Quezon City outpost. For Vizco’s cake orders, Love, Strawberry requires at least 50% downpayment, but the remaining fees can be paid upon pickup or delivery.
Aside from the Vizco’s cakes, Love, Strawberry also offers other strawberry treats, including Fresh Strawberries (P100), Strawberry Milk (P80/350 ml), and Homemade Strawberry Jam (P65/240 ml).
Vizco's is located along Session Road, Baguio and was established in 2004. According to Yummy.ph, owner Jackie Vizcocho Dizon first came out with the Strawberry Shortcake that same year. The recipe then changed over the next months before being finalized in 2006.
For orders, send a message to Love, Strawberry’s Facebook page.
