We're no strangers to Kylie Verzosa's sultry photoshoots, but her latest promo shoot for The Housemaid had our jaws immediately hitting the floor.
The photos shot by BJ Pascual show a naked Kylie submerged in a bloody bathtub, her hair soaked in the red liquid. It's a daring scene that looks straight out of a horror movie—the polar opposite of the original movie poster that only features her character Daisy in a maid's uniform.
Merlito Designs even created an alternate movie poster for the Filipino adaption of the erotic Korean trhiller. They gave one of the photos the old-school film treatment, and needless to say, it'll make anyone miss watching movies in a theater.
The shoot appears to be a reference to one of the most highly-anticipated scenes shown in the trailer. In it, Daisy is also covered in blood-stained water, laughing maniacally to herself. Kylie subtly hinted at it on her Instagram caption for the photos, writing, "Dripping in blood, but whose blood?"
The Housemaid will be premiering on Vivamax on September 10. It's the beauty queen-turned-actress' first title role, where she will be starring alongside Albert Martinez, Louise Delos Reyes, Alma Moreno, and Jacyln Jose.
