Kelsey Merritt is on a roll! Remember when she attended a casting for Sports Illustrated? Well guess what? She got the job! The Filipina Victoria's Secret model has been announced as the brand new addition to Sports Illustrated's roster of Swimsuit Rookies!
She's currently in the Bahamas to shoot the magazine's swimsuit issue, and right before her turn to shoot, Kelsey broke the exciting news on Instagram:
Officially welcoming her to the family, the magazine published a profile on Kelsey. On why she wants to be model for SI, she says, "I really want to be a Sports Illustrated model because I love how confident the models are and I want to show everyone who is looking at these pictures and reading the magazine that they can also be confident in their own skin."
The magazine's swimsuit issue will be released this May. Other than Kelsey, other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookies include Lily Aldridge, Ashley Graham, and Gigi Hadid. Talk about a stellar lineup!
