Kelsey Merritt is on a hustle. After securing her spot in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the Filipina model is now vying to make it to Sports Illustrated 2019 swimsuit issue.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's official Instagram account posted of Kelsey right after her casting call. In the video, she says that she wants to be a Sports Illustrated model because she loves "how confident the models are" and that being an SI model will let her show the magazine's readers "that they can also be confident in their own skin."
This isn't the first time Kelsey auditioned for the magazine. A month into modeling, she also tried her luck to get a spot in the mag back in 2016. Fingers crossed she seals the deal this time around. We're rooting for you, Kels!
