Katy Perry Is 2015’s Highest Paid Woman in Music Move over, Tay Sway.

It’s nice to think that the extra work you put in comes back to reward you handsomely. Certainly Katy Perry must be feeling it right now since she’s just been named the highest paid woman in music for 2015 by Forbes

Cashing in a whopping $135 million thanks to her Prismatic world tour, Coty, Claire’s, and Covergirl endorsements, plus the record sales, Katy beats out Taylor Swift, who takes the number two spot with her $80 million. Katy tells Forbes, “I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company.” She adds:

“I’m an entrepreneur. I don’t want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls.”

Mother Monster Lady Gaga comes in at 4th place with $59 million followed by Beyonce with $54.5 million.

Congratulations, Katy! You just crushed the competition!
