There’s no denying how much our lives have changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic—and not just here in the Philippines but all around the world. The phrase “new normal” is often thrown around, mostly in reference to all the safety precautions we now have to learn to live with, such as wearing of masks and face shields, social distancing, and going out only when it’s absolutely necessary. Even the celebrities are not oblivious to these changes—and Kathryn Bernardo has even taken it to her YouTube channel to document how shoots are now being done in the new normal.
“This pandemic has changed all of our lives. And as we continue to adjust to the new normal, safety has definitely become a top priority,” the actress captions her post. “In my latest vlog, I tried to document how we keep ourselves safe and protected during shoots—from doing our antigen swab test at home to following strict protocols and proper sanitizing and disinfecting of equipment!”
In the video, Kathryn takes her viewers to the set of her recent Lazada campaign shoot. And to give us a better idea on how the industry operates during shoots in the new normal, she even did an interview with hairstylist Chris Rodil on how he disinfects his tools, as well as with makeup artist Denise Ochoa on how she sanitizes her products. Lulu from Kim and Boop Yap’s styling team also gave the lowdown on how they keep the clothes and accessories virus-free, which is especially a top concern for the celebrity who will be wearing the said pieces.
