ICYMI: Hyun Bin is starring in a new film titled The Point Men (also known as Bargaining), and to fully embody his role, he sported an equally new look!
In the action crime thriller, the Korean actor portrays NIS agent Park Dae-sik who's an expert in the Middle East and Central Asia. He saves hostages in Afghanistan after learning about the situation of the South Korean citizens in the said country. According to The Korea Times, the movie is inspired by a true story when "23 Korean Christian volunteers [were] taken hostage by Taliban militants in Afghanistan in 2007." The Point Men also stars Narcos Saints' Hwang Jung Min and Extraordinary Attorney Woo's Kang Ki Young.

On December 20, we saw Hyun Bin with a rugged look (complete with a full beard) during the press conference of the film. This is his first public appearance since Son Ye Jin gave birth.

Hyun Bin was asked several questions by media representatives, and one was about him being a first-time dad! He shared, "The shooting [of the movie] was done before I have a child, so there is not much difference. I don't know, now my shoulders become heavier as I am the head of the family. In the future, I have to work harder and become a wonderful father. That's all I can think of right now."

The Point Men will be released in Korean cinemas on January 18. Here's to hoping that the film will be shown in the PH, too!
