Camille may have been a Parisian mainstay for four seasons of Emily in Paris, but she won’t be joining Emily and the rest of the gang for Season 5.

As production kicks off in Rome this May before heading back to the City of Lights, fans were quick to notice a glaring omission in Netflix’s list of returning cast members: Camille Razat. While Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper is jetting off on new adventures, Camille's chapter appears to have closed—at least for now.
Why Is Camille Razat Not Returning to “Emily in Paris” Season 5?
When Netflix confirmed the cast lineup for the upcoming season, Camille Razat’s name was noticeably absent. According to Deadline, this wasn’t entirely unexpected—her character Camille had dramatically exited the scene in Season 4, breaking things off with Gabriel after faking a pregnancy and deciding she wanted to become a mother on her own terms.
Camille Razat addressed her departure in a heartfelt Instagram post, writing: “After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris. It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories.” She added that Camille’s storyline had “naturally come to an end” and expressed gratitude to the showrunners for “leaving the door open” for a possible return.

In real life, the actress is keeping busy. She recently wrapped two new series—The Lost Station Girls for Disney+ and Nero for Netflix—and even launched her own production company, Tazar Production, focused on music videos and short films, with a feature film already in development.

Who Will Return for “Emily in Paris” Season 5?
Despite speculation about who might be bowing out, several familiar faces are confirmed for Season 5. Lily Collins (Emily), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), and Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello) are all set to return, according to Deadline and Tudum.
Interestingly, Lucas Bravo’s future with the series was in question after he voiced frustration with his character, comparing Gabriel to “guacamole.” But the actor has since rejoined the cast, and his character’s complicated dynamic with Emily is expected to continue.

As Emily helps set up Agence Grateau’s Rome office, her romance with Marcello is set to bloom—but this is Emily in Paris, so don’t count out some Parisian detours (and drama!). The series may be heading to Italy, but the love triangles, workplace intrigue, and haute couture are staying très French. Season 5 is slated to premiere later in 2025.
Emily in Paris is streaming on Netflix.
