Single’s Inferno returned for its fifth season with the same sun-soaked tension and slow-burn romance that fans have come to expect. But as viewers settle in, some contestants are already sparking a sense of familiarity—and not just because of their standout edits on the island. A few cast members have appeared on screen long before the reality show, with credits in various K-dramas.

Choi Mina Sue

Choi Mina Sue entered Single’s Inferno Season 5 with a public profile that immediately set her apart. She was the first runner-up at the Miss Korea 2021 beauty pageant and later won Miss Earth 2022, achievements that helped establish her as one of the season’s most recognizable contestants even before the show aired.

Single’s Inferno Season 5 quickly found one of its most polarizing figures in Mina Sue. She made an immediate impression upon arrival, drawing the attention of multiple male contestants and quickly becoming a recurring topic of conversation among viewers.

Woo Sung Min

Woo Sung Min has taken on a much quieter role in Single’s Inferno Season 5, often slipping under the radar despite being present in key moments. While his airtime has been limited, he has notably been positioned as one of the main men catching the attention of fan-favorite Kim Go Eun.

Before working as an optician and helping manage his family’s optical shop, he reportedly acted under the name Woo Ki Hoon, with drama credits dating back to the mid-2010s. His appearances include a supporting role as Kim Min-seok in Solomon’s Perjury in 2016, as well as guest roles in Twenty Again and Missing Noir M in 2015.
