The Korean entertainment industry mourns the loss of Kang Seo Ha, an actress known for her work on K-dramas First Love Again and Schoolgirl Detectives. Her sister Eun confirmed the news on her Instagram page on July 14 through a compilation of their shared moments. In the Reel's accompanying caption, Eun wrote: "I still dont believe it unnie... [You're] my angel who left too soon."

"Don't worry, I'll take care of your crying aunt and uncles... I love you so, so, so much! Thanks for coming into my life. Thank you so much for being my sister. I miss you already. I love you," she continued in her heartfelt message. Seo Ha was revealed to have struggled with stomach cancer for the past few years, which ultimately led to her demise.

Born Kang Ye Won on June 13, 1994, the actress took up her studies at the Korea National University of Arts' School. She was 31 years old when she passed away.

Kang Seo Ha made her acting debut through a music video

Seo Ha made her acting debut in 2012 through the music video for the Brave Guys song Getting Farther Away. Soon after, she starred in various TV series such as The Flower in Prison, Heart Surgeons, and Through the Waves. She's shared the screen with fellow actors Lee Hye Ri, Kim Seung Soo, Seo Ji Hye, and more.

The last project Kang Seo Ha filmed was with Kim Seon Ho

One of the last projects Seo Ha appeared in is the TVING title In the Net. The show, which has yet to premiere, has the actress starring alongside K-drama favorites Kim Seon Ho and Park Gyu Young. While there are no details yet as to what Seo Ha's character will be like, the show is expected to premiere with six episodes by the end of 2025.
