When BLACKPINK’s Jennie launched her own label in late 2023, it marked a major shift in how she would handle her solo career moving forward. Less than two years later, the numbers tied to the company are already drawing attention.

According to Korean media reports citing filings from South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service, the Korean singer reportedly received a total of 23.8 billion Korean won from her agency OA Entertainment over two years. That translates to roughly $16 million (approx. P976 million).

The reported figure offers a glimpse into how much the singer’s solo ventures—from music releases to endorsements and performances—have grown since stepping into a more independent setup outside of her longtime management company.

According to Korea JoongAng Daily, OA Entertainment distributed 14.3 billion won (approx. $9.8 million or P597 million) to Jennie in 2024, followed by another 9.5 billion won (approx. $6.5 million or P397 million) in 2025.

The payments were reportedly listed under cost of sales in the company’s audit filings. While the exact breakdown was not disclosed, the earnings are understood to come from activities including music releases, advertisements, performances, and television appearances.

Jennie established OA Entertainment—also known as Odd Atelier—after her exclusive individual contract with YG Entertainment ended in 2023. Under the current arrangement, YG Entertainment continues to oversee BLACKPINK’s group activities, while Jennie manages her solo career independently through OA Entertainment.

The company is reportedly fully owned by Jennie, with her mother serving as chief executive officer.

Financial filings also point to steady growth for the agency. Korea JoongAng Daily reported that OA Entertainment posted 18.9 billion won in revenue during its first full year of operations in 2024. By 2025, that figure had risen to 23.8 billion won (approx. $16 million or P976 million), reflecting an increase of around 26 percent.

Operating profit, however, reportedly dipped from 580 million won to 390 million won as the company expanded operations and invested more into staffing and services.

According to OSEN, Jennie also personally loaned funds to the company, with shareholder loans reportedly reaching 2.86 billion won (approx. $1.96 million or P119 million) by the end of last year.

During an appearance on The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet, Jennie previously shared why she decided to establish her own agency.

“I cautiously founded the company because I wanted to freely and comfortably pursue my individual activities,” she said, as reported by OSEN.

She also explained that the name Odd Atelier reflected her intention to succeed while taking a path that felt different from the usual route in the industry.

The agency’s growth comes amid a busy stretch for Jennie’s solo career. Her 2025 album Ruby reportedly saw three songs enter the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, while “Like Jennie” became Spotify’s most-streamed K-pop song in the first half of 2025, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.
