When the third season of XO, Kitty premiered on Netflix last April 2, it secured the number one spot on the platform and garnered more than 12 million views in less than a week. No surprise there!
The series—a spin-off of Jenny Han's To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise—is well-loved by fans as a light, cozy, and binge-worthy watch.
The show takes viewers through a whirlwind of life, love, and self-discovery, and one of its most remarkable aspects is how characters connect despite their cultural differences. This diversity was not only captured on-screen but also outside it. Content creators from around the globe got to visit the set and meet the actors—and the roster counts three from the Philippines, including Roce Ordoñez.
Preview chats with Roce to hear all about her experience!

“I was so shocked and excited when I received the invitation,” Roce gushed. “It didn’t feel real at first. It’s not every day you get an opportunity like that.”
The invitation came directly from Netflix as part of a special experience tied to the show. Her fellow Filipinos who received the same invitation were entertainment journalist MJ Marfori and lifestyle and fashion content creator John Deseo.
According to her, the “simple but really special” itinerary was made all the more fun and memorable by being shared with other content creators from different countries.

Roce covers a wide range of content, from humorous skits and dance videos to lifestyle and technology recommendations.
“We visited the set and got to interact with the cast, which made the whole experience unforgettable,” Roce tells Preview, revealing that her favorite memories include meeting the actors, watching them film the scenes, and simply being in that environment. “Everything felt surreal—from stepping onto the set to having real conversations with them.”
They were also given the opportunity to shoot content with the cast!
She remembers the actors as “incredibly warm and easy to talk to.” A particular standout was Gia Kim, who takes on the role of Yuri Han. Roce believes she “was definitely the most approachable for me,” adding that “she made everything feel so comfortable and natural.”

Roce also got to spend time with Anna Cathcart, who plays the titular role.
“I also really appreciated Anna taking the time to be with us despite her busy schedule,” Roce tells Preview. “It made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable.”
