Everything You Need to Know About "Destined With You":

The Plot
Lee Jong-ho is a lonely civil servant determined to advance her social life at her office. When an opportunity to impress her boss arises at work, she takes on the job to get a haunted family shrine demolished. In her quest, she gets entangled with the shrine’s heir, Jang Shin-yu, a handsome and successful lawyer who, like Jong-ho, lives a solitary life. Shin-yu is bound by a curse that’s plagued his family for generations, resulting in an incurable illness. Although ambivalent about Jong-ho at first, he starts befriending her when he finds out that she might hold the key to a secret box that could end his family’s misfortune and save his life.

The Cast
Jo Bo Ah (Tale of the Nine Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman) leads the cast as Lee Jong-ho. When she’s transferred to a different department at her work in Onju City Hall, Jong-ho struggles to befriend her colleagues who want nothing to do with her.

She ends up finding companionship in Shin-yu and Kwon Jae-kyung, a popular aide at the city hall whom Jong-ho develops unrequited feelings for. Jae-kyung is portrayed by Ha Jun, who’s appeared in K-dramas like Bad Prosecutor and Crazy Love.

Meanwhile, main male lead Shin-yu is being played by K-pop idol and actor Rowoon, known for top-billing shows such as The King’s Affection and Extraordinary You. Fresh from his 2022 fantasy drama Tomorrow, which can also be found on Netflix, Rowoon plays the aloof and tortured Shin-yu. Due to his family’s curse, he’s not only terminally ill, but he’s also haunted by the presence of a bloody hand disturbing his waking days.

Yura of K-pop girl group Girl’s Day rounds out the main cast as Yoon Na-yeon, Shin-yu’s eager girlfriend. She grows jealous of Jong-ho, whom she used to bully in high school, when her boyfriend takes a special interest in her. Prior to Destined With You, Yura held roles in Forecasting Love and Weather and Now, We Are Breaking Up.
