Korean culture has had a great influence on our food trends for the past few years, from Korean barbecue, Dalgona coffee, cheesy garlic bread, Korean corn dogs, and the most recent one, egg drop sandwiches. If you haven't tried these sandwiches (that rose to popularity thanks to Korean drama Hospital Playlist), you can go to Corner Cafe + Deli in Quezon City to give it a try.

The cafe is easy to locate. It stands out with its minimalistic white building with a touch of dark grey and wood, so it's no wonder how anyone can miss the ginormous signage, too! When you enter the establishment, you will be greeted with more white and wood but with the addition of marble floors and plant accent walls.

Corner Cafe + Deli boasts their egg drop sandwiches are all made in-house, even the brioche bread. They have different options like Classic Egg (P155), Bacon (P175), Sweet Ham (P175), Beef Sukiyaki (P185), and Corner Signature Deli Drop (P245). The hefty price tag of the latter comes from the meaty filling of pastrami, salami, forest ham, egg, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and the cafe's special sauce.

If egg drop sandwiches aren't your thing, Corner Cafe + Deli also has all-day breakfast plates, pasta, French toasts, deli sandwiches, and pastries you can choose from. Ones that stand out are the Farmer's Pork Tocino (P320) that has pan-seared pork shoulder seasoned with paprika, Two Seasons (P230) which finds French toast topped with fresh mangoes, kiwi, almonds, and syrup, and Chorizo Aglio E Olio (P295), a plate of pasta made meatier and more flavorful with Spanish chorizo, garlic, parmesan, olive oil, chili flakes, and fried egg.

For their coffee menu, they have the basics covered! They have a variety of espresso-based beverages, such as the Spanish Latte (price starts at P155) and Matcha Espresso (price starts at P165) being the most recommended. But if you're avoiding coffee for whatever reason, they have matcha, chai, kinako latte (soybeans), and hot chocolate on the menu, too.
