You can find clips of these svelte figures lifting weights that look bigger than them, all while still laughing and goofing off. “I think most clients would say that my sessions are A LOT of fun. It's full of laughs but I always keep an eye on rest periods,” he tells Preview. Despite his A-list clientele, don’t feel intimidated as he says everyone is free to train with him in his studio garage in New Manila, Quezon City. He also does at-home sessions for certain locales, but he reserves online sessions for clients he’s previously trained in-person. This is to avoid potential injuries, because by then he already has an idea of the client’s form.
What to expect: 45-60 minutes of very specific and sometimes unconventional drills with therapy and stretching after, as needed. Programs vary depending on your reason for working out. It’s not uncommon for him to design an aggressive fat-loss program, so be upfront if this is your target.

2. Coach Jay Garcia

If you choose to train via Coach Jay’s app, he will upload a custom workout three to five times a week.
Price Range: P2000 onwards for an in-person session (depending on location), P1500 for an online Zoom session, and P2500 for a monthly app subscription.
3. Coach Andre Cabrera

Fitness Mobil is a team of sports science-educated coaches that offer general, athletic, and even pre- and post-natal fitness programs. Managed by Founder and CEO Coach Andre, they initially started as an in-home, personal training service. They have since shifted to a purely virtual model because of the pandemic. While it is generally better to train with proper equipment, Coach Andre reveals that trainees can substitute weights with easily found household items, such as water bottles and bags with books. ICYMI: Saab even cutely used her son, Vito, as a substitute for weights when she didn’t have equipment while on vacation.
What to expect: Training is usually 45-60 minutes, depending on your fitness level. This is usually done in training blocks that focus on functional movements. The goal will be to challenge your body to generate more strength.
Price Range: P8000–13,000 for 10 sessions, valid for 2 months.
4. Coach Kat Geronimo-Garcia

Mama Kat, as she is fondly called, has been the Head Coach for Celebrities of Under Armour for six years now. She describes herself as someone who not only helps personalities meet their fitness goals, but also introduces them to a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. While in-person sessions with Coach Kat are held at her gym partners, she has been offering distant coaching services internationally and locally via Zoom since 2015.
What to expect: A typical 40-60 minute session starts with warm up and mobility drills. The assigned training template then ensues. This workout will be based on the weak links in your fitness and strength levels, range of motion, and flexibility.
Price Range: P5000 for assessment and consultation, and P7000-10,000 for a three-week program.
5. Coach Mark Banta
Notable Clients: Pia Wurtzbach, Kylie Verzosa, Gazini Ganados
Coach Mark is the top choice of Filipina beauty queens to help maintain their pageant-winning form. He may now be based in Melbourne, but his Gymbassy Health and Fitness App enables him to reach clients globally. Placing importance on sustainability and building good habits, he also offers nutritional plans, and makes sure to work closely with each of his trainees. This attention to detail leads him to set a cap to the number of clients he works with at any given time. He’s currently studying plans on further expansion, but for now, you can drop him a DM, and he will get back to you once his roster opens up.
What to expect: Once you’ve secured a slot with him, you’ll get an invite to download the app. After an initial health and fitness assessment, Coach Mark will then create your 12-week transformation program, consisting of personalized workout videos, to be uploaded in your calendar.
