In February 2020, Winwyn enlisted to become a Marine Reservist under the Philippine Naval Reserve Command. What sealed the deal for her was the passion she has for helping people and wanted to be around that culture. She said that her heart is really for the service of people.
Winwyn was appointed as the Batch Dakila President and was Top 1 for Class 01-2020 and in physical fitness as well! Although she felt the pressure of being a leader and nearly wanted to quit, what made her keep going were her batchmates, and the drive she has for service. Winwyn and her classmates all came from different fields but what brought them together was their purpose to help, serve, and protect people.
