Time flies! Can you believe AC Bonifacio is now 18?!
It seems like it was just yesterday when the young Filipina-Canadian performer has wowed everyone with her dance cover of BLACKPINK's song, "Kill This Love." Even the girl group's choreographers Kiel Tutin and Kyle Hanagmi praised her performance in the comments section! Since then, AC has given us more BLACKPINK dance covers to enjoy: "How You Like That," which she won second place for in the global dance contest, "Ice Cream," and "Lovesick Girls." Of course, she's also grooved to BTS' "ON" and "Dynamite."
To celebrate another milestone, her mom surprised AC with a sweet, intimate, all-pink party with her family at a hotel suite in Canada. Done by Blooms and Paper, the setup included flowers, balloons, "AC" block letters and pedestals, and a neon sign!
Her gorgeous cake was by Cakes n Sweets and the cake topper was by Pearl Collaborations.
There were also yummy treats from La Glace Ice Cream, Bake Me Away, Just Dipped, and Miel Snack Platters.
In an Instagram post, she thanked everyone who made her birthday memorable—especially her mom, Cherry Lapidario: "Extra shout out to my mom who I know got so stressed planning this, and trying to surprise me. She always puts so much effort in, I love you so much momma."
