Everyone, hold onto your seats because we’ve got breaking news for you: A World of Married Couple will finally be available on Netflix Philippines! (We’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.)
Now, if you aren’t familiar with this K-drama yet, you should know that A World of Married Couple (alternatively known as The World of the Married) is the highest rated K-drama to date. The JTBC show was first streamed on Viu when it aired in South Korea back in March.
Netflix Philippines announced that the show will be available starting August 28, so if you weren’t able to catch it on Viu then, mark your calendars and ready your tissues because this show is one hell of a rollercoaster ride.
The show tells the story of Dr. Ji (Kim Hee Ae) and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon), who navigate the ups and downs of divorce after the latter committed adultery. What ensues is a series of back-and-forth attacks against each other to seek revenge. A riveting tale of family drama, scandal, motherhood, and romance, A World of Married Couple soared to record-breaking heights with each episode.
At this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards, Kim Hee Ae took home the Best Actress award, while newcomer Han So Hee, who plays the girl you’ll love to hate, Yeo Da Kyung, was nominated for Best New Actress.
