Finishing an entire bullet is not as impossible as you think.

With the number of lipsticks that you probably already own, the last thing you should do is choose one and wear it the same way for the rest of its pigmented life. Sure, you can have one favorite look, but don't let that keep you from having fun and experimenting once in a while—you might be surprised with what you can come up with.

With an entire bullet of lipstick to use up, you have all the excuses to spice things up. That said, here's our foolproof guide on how you can make the most of your lipstick, featuring fresh drops from Tom Ford's Boys & Girls line. Learn them all and you'll finish one tube in no time.

1. EYES CREAM

The most blendable eyeshadow you own has been hiding in your lipstick drawer this whole time. Tap a creamy formula all over your lids and you'll get an easy, no-brush-required wash of color.

2. HIGH BEAM

While you're at it, swipe a shade in satin or glossy finish at the top of your cheekbones like you would a highlighter. Pastel hues work best for an interesting yet understated beam.

3. FADED OUT

A gradient lip requires only (literally) 50% of your commitment, since you're basically only applying it on the inner rims of your pout. Max out this perk and play with the brightest shade you own—how about fuchsia?

4. BLOTTED

Lip tints are huge for a reason: They give your lips color without making you commit to a full layer of pigment. A lipstick bullet can easily give you the same look, though—simply apply then blot the excess off with a tissue. The mattifying effect comes as bonus.

5. THE KYLIE

If it's larger-than-life lips you want and you want it now, an overlined pout is for you. Imagine working on a coloring book—outline your desired shape with a lip liner first, and then fill in the gaps with your lipstick. If Kylie can pull it off, you can, too.

6. THE STRAW-DRINKER

Take it from the girls of Moschino's Spring/Summer 2019 show and wear a reverse ombré. The key here is to make your outline thicker and to blur out any harsh lines toward the inner rims of your pucker—think a regular gradient lip but reversed.

7. LIP DRIP

Gloss should be everyone's go-to plumping solution. Wear it on its own or over your perfectly-applied red lipstick for a sultry yet polished sheen.

8. SHEER AND CHEEKY

Using your lipstick for a quick wash of color on your cheeks? This age-old trick never gets old. A friendly advice, though: Match your lipstick blush with your skin's needs. Oily skin will fare best with matte lipsticks that set; anything too glossy can break down your base, or worse, break you out. On the other hand, dry and combination skin types should opt for moisturizing formulas that won't cling to dry patches.

9. DARK AND FEATHERED

Dial down your perfectionist tendencies and go for something dark and feathered. Instead of a bold lip line, gently blur out the edges of your lip color using your finger or a brush.

10. CAT-LIKE

At this point, we've already established that the versatility of a lipstick knows no limits. It could even substitute as a colored eyeliner at your command—wield on a cat-eye with a fine angled brush for extra precision.
