It'll make you want to get a dose of glitter.

Your party makeup stash is officially due for an update, and NARS' Studio 54 collection might have exactly what you're looking for. Inspired by the excess and glamour of the legendary nightclub, the brand curated a lineup of lipsticks, palettes, kits, and accessories that'll have you giving in to the temptation of going all out on your holiday beauty looks. Ahead, we review some of our picks from the range to help you choose a product to splurge on:

1. NARS Free Lover Cheek Palette

"One look at this cheek palette and I already knew that I won't only be using it for my holiday parties. It has all the shades in finishes that I use all year round—matte corals and pinks, a vibrant strawberry shimmer (that also doubles as eyeshadow), an apricot with a subtle sheen, and last but not the least, an opal-hued highlighter. And as expected from NARS, each powder was a dream to apply—decently pigmented, blendable, and buildable. The cohesiveness of the shades made it easy to mix and match, too. My favorite combo is Final Cut and Crave, two variations of peachy blushes that create the perfect summery flush. That said, my most-used pan was Disco Nights, a beautiful opal highlighter that just creates the prettiest sheen both in photos and in real life—a true keeper." - Nicole Arcano, Beauty Assistant

2. NARS Outshine Lip Gloss Set

"I'm not sure which part of this set I was more excited about—the three shades of lip gloss or the color-changing sequin pouch with a gorgeous NARS Studio 54 keychain. Either way, I consider it a steal because you're getting a reusable pouch and three wearable gloss shades that can be worn by themselves or layered beautifully over lip products. Star Love, a tan rose hue, adds such a flattering depth when worn over a light nude lipstick that could otherwise make me look like a ghost. It doesn't feel sticky either, just the right amount of slip that feels like I applied a generous coat of lip balm. That's why I love using the other two shades, On the Radio (a sheer champagne with pink and gold shimmer) and Triple X (a clear gloss) as eye gloss, too. Overall, if you're a gloss girl or someone who wants to foray into that decently-slicked life, this trio won't fail you." - Nicole Arcano, Beauty Assistant

3. NARS Studio 54 Eyeshadow Palette in Hyped

"Some people seeing this palette for the first time would think that it doesn't fit the disco theme at all. It has too many neutrals and mattes, whereas a 'proper' disco palette would have only bright colors and glitters. However, I wouldn't necessarily agree. I think that Hyped, with its array of light shimmers and browns, is actually quite well-rounded—you have everything you need to create a party eye in one palette.

"For example, I applied the light pink (Shake Shake Shake) on my lids as a slightly shimmery base before blending the saddle (Ring My Bell) and cocoa brown (Love Train) colors into my crease and outer sockets. After that, I went in with Exxxcess, a fuchsia, and diffused the color with Lady Marmalade, a hot pink. From there, I added shimmer wherever I wanted (there are tons of options there) and ended up with a modern take on a '70s eye. For me, this palette makes creating disco-inspired makeup easy, and you'd eventually find yourself using it beyond the holidays. That said, if you're a true glitter fanatic, the Inferno palette might be the better option for you."  - Nicole Arcano, Beauty Assistant

4. NARS Disco Dust Lipstick in Pat

"Glitter lipsticks have a reputation for being overly chunky and too high-maintenance, which I unfortunately also believe. I admit I was hesitant to try the Disco Dust Lipstick for this reason, but I was determined to find out if NARS could prove that cliché wrong. The shade I have, Andy, is a pomegranate hue with pink shimmers. On me, it registers more like a deep berry pink, and the glitters were more subdued than I expected. The latter is a good thing because unlike other glitter lip products I've tried, this didn't give my lips that uncomfortable sandy feeling and actually gave my pout a party-ready sheen. If I were to wear it again, I'd probably pat it over a darker lip color to add a touch of shimmer. Overall, the Disco Dust Lipstick glided over my skin easily and didn't skip, and I definitely consider it one of the friendlier glitter lip formulas out there if you want one you can wear without frills."  - Nicole Arcano, Beauty Assistant

5. NARS Velvet Rope Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Box

"Right off the bat, the packaging of the Velvet Rope Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Set is gorgeous! The glittery box alone is pretty much worth its price—especially if you're into limited edition products that are also statement pieces for your beauty counter. This is my first time trying NARS’ velvet matte lip pencils, and I'm a convert! They glide on so smoothly and feel like hydrating satin lipsticks but have a beautiful matte finish. The set includes four of NARS' all-time favorite lip pencil shades: Bad Girl, Dolce Vita (which is available in full size with the VIP Room set), Dragon Girl, and Sex Machine. It's the perfect set to buy if you’re into matte lipsticks and would like to experience the brand's best-selling hues." - Maura Rodriguez, Associate Social Media Editor

6. NARS Studio 54 Vip Room NARS Essentials Set

"I'm not really a fan of makeup sets in general. I tend to like only one or two products from these holiday sets and end up buying the full size versions individually instead. But the VIP Room NARS Essentials Set is such a well-curated array of the brand’s bestselling products that it's difficult to pass on. I've always wanted to try the Laguna bronzer and the Orgasm blush (which also comes in a mini cream stick in this set!) and luckily it's all in here! I’d recommend it if you’re unsure of what NARS cult favorite product you’d like to get full size. Although it does include two regular sized lip pencils and the iconic Climax mascara—which makes it all the more a steal. After trying most of the items in the collection, I feel like I'll end up repurchasing a lot more than what I initially expected. Great for me, not so great for my wallet." - Maura Rodriguez, Associate Social Media Editor
