Living in a tropical country means we have sunshine all year round. Even those who aren't born with naturally tanned skin can get a golden glow just from staying outdoors (with proper SPF, of course!). So whenever the sun puts some color on you, we say flaunt it while it lasts! Take some cues from Liza Soberano, who sported her own bronze glow in a recent campaign shoot.
Most Filipinas have warm or yellow undertones, so when we tan, our skin tone tends to lean towards a more golden shade. To highlight this, you have to adjust the color of your foundation so your face and body will be the same color. Having a bottle of foundation in a slightly darker shade comes in handy, as you can mix a few drops of it with your usual shade to warm it up. If the shade is still too light, sweep a bronzer over the outer perimeters of your face instead of adding more foundation.
Spending more time under the sun could make your freckles come out from hiding, too, so show them off! That said, using foundation will conceal them a little. But don't worry; gently dotting a brown eye pencil over your specks will revive their color. You can even add more freckles if you wish!
If you want to do a full face, commit to a look that matches your fresh tone. Here, Liza exclusively used browns and warm shades on her eyes, and she opted for zero traces of pink for her blush. Her lip color was a gorgeous yellow-toned red as well, which tied the entire look together.
