We all know that face products such as foundation, cushions, and concealers of Korean makeup brands usually just cater to fair, light, and medium skin tones. This makes it harder to shop for products especially if you're a morena K-beauty enthusiast. But that dilemma finally ends today!
Beauty YouTuber John Rey, aka Johnreyslife, known for her useful, honest, and hilarious makeup reviews wherein she tries out different products to see if they're morena-friendly, recently discovered a cushion foundation whose shade range actually accommodates brown-skinned girls and doesn't look ashy.
The Innisfree My To Go Cushion has 10 shades that ranges from light, medium, to deep hues. It doesn't sound like much when compared to their Western counterparts, but for a K-beauty product? It's a big step already. It costs P1,690, while the refill is P1,190.
Here are the shades:
- C13 (light beige)
- C21 (pink beige)
- N21 (natural beige)
- N22 (medium beige)
- N23 (true beige)
- N27 (sand)
- N31 (walnut)
- W33 (chestnut)
- W35 (golden cinnamon)
- W37 (golden tan)
The product is housed in a sleek, matte black packaging, and comes with a bio-material puff and an embossed plate to help spread the foundation evenly. It's also loaded with SPF50+ PA++ so that you get maximum protection from the harmful rays of the sun. According to Johnrey, the My To Go Cushion has medium coverage and is super buildable. It also delivers a dewy finish!
