Here's your daily reminder that anything you might view as an "irregularity" or a "flaw" on your body is completely natural.
Earlier today, January 9, content creator Inka Magnaye took to her social media pages to recount an encounter she had with a girl by a pool. She narrates the scenario in a TikTok video:

"So do I," Inka repeatedly responded to the girl's qualms about her stretch marks and cellulite. "That's the exchange that always comes to mind when someone compliments my 'flawlessness,'" she states.

While Inka appreciates being complimented for her appearance, she assures her followers that she's also "flawed" in her own way. She went into detail, saying, "Dark knees and elbows, dry skin, lines on my underarms, patchy pigmentation, stretch marks, and all these things that prevent us from doing things we want to do. Someone left a comment on one of my videos saying she wished she could wear skirts but couldn’t because of her dark knees."
"If you've seen me in shorts out in public, I promise you I have them all. You just don’t notice because we’re usually too preoccupied with our own flaws' to notice them in others."

Similar sentiments have been made by some of the industry's most beautiful personalities. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach herself, for example, once posted swimsuit photos with the caption, "This body has carried me through life, and I will honor it. Cellulites, jiggles, and all!" Celeb mom Sarah Lahbati is on the same page, having shared snaps of her tiger stripes and calling them her "best tattoos."
Though, Inka does add that being confident about one's body isn't a requirement for everyone. "I don't want to control how you feel or act. I just wanna tell you it's okay."

The voice artist shares that the girl she was conversing with eventually dove into the pool, as she punctuates her story with a white heart.
