Having shoulder-length hair can be quite limiting. It's a challenge to find new ways to style this hair length versus having long locks where you can pretty much do everything. That said, you might want to try this celebrity-approved 'do: This textured, wet hair look from Bea Alonzo is the sultry kick you need for your crowning glory.w
Before you get into the actual styling, Kiel's advice is to prep your hair first. "First thing you have to do is blow dry. Then, add some waves using a flat iron to give hair some body. Texture is the key!"
Getting the Texture
For the styling part, this is where you can get down to business and really work in the messy waves. "Second part is messing up the hair using your hands. I add a dab of the Gatsby Watergloss Wax to style the partition." You don't need to put wax all over the hair. Kiel advises to "start with a little amount then gradually add more if you want a more wet look."
Kiel says he uses a mist to really secure all that hard work as the finishing step. "I used the Living Proof Texturizing Mist—it's the final step that I do to achieve these messy wet waves on Bea."
