Effortless styles for an effortless cut.

If you've cut your hair into a blunt bob, you're likely someone who prefers styles that require the least possible effort. Of course, it still has to look chic, and thankfully, you have more than a handful of options despite your now-limited working space.

Here are some easy-peasy ways to give your blunt bob some non-complicated fluffing:

1. Bouncy Round Bob

If you're lucky, your bob would naturally fall this way and you won't need to blow dry at all. But in case it doesn't, cop it with a good ol' round brush and hair dryer combo, pushing your ends inwards for that chic '90s supermodel look that'll also make your locks appear thicker than they are. For a more effortless "messy" finish, spritz on some texturizing spray and fluff your mane with your fingers after!

2. Chic bends

Loose waves are less overwhelming for this hair length than full-on curls, so practice having a light hand with your curling wand. You can opt for messier waves or more choreographed, vintage-looking curls for a more polished glam depending on the vibe you want. Here are three takes on this look for some inspo:

3. Face-framing bend

When you don't have much hair to curl to begin with, a single wave could be enough to amp it up. Grab your curling iron and press it under the mid-lengths of your strands for a few seconds to create a soft bend. It'll give you volume sans the need for a full blowdry. Plus, if you have a long or oval face shape, it can give the illusion of some fullness to your cheeks to balance out your hair's short length.

4. Fresh Side Part

Creating volume at the roots is key to pulling off a side-parted 'do. You don't even need to blow dry your entire head: Just use a brush and the heat of your hair dryer on your roots, lifting that area so your hair frames your mug instead of flopping flatly over the side of your face.

5. Headband/Scarf Styles

Can't be bothered with any tools? An accessory like a headband or a scarf is all you need to polish up your mane. The only details you'd need to pay attention to are where your hair is parted underneath (the neater the divide, the sleeker it looks), how neat your hairline looks, and the state of your ends. For the last two, you can use some hair oil, hairspray, or even a paste to tame frizz.

6. Messy bun

You may not have enough hair for a top knot, but you can still channel that chill vibe with the amount of strands that you do. Always start with deciding your hair part, and then gather your ends into a ponytail or very petite bun at the back of your head. But before you secure that with a hair tie, pull out some face-framing tendrils that you can style later on to make the style less plain. That said, when you have extra time, pre-styling your locks into some waves before creating the bun works, too!

7. Slicked back

Wet hair works on just about any length of hair, but a good slicked back style can be your go-to for a blunt bob. A fine-toothed combo and some gel is the foolproof combo for this, just pick a part and combing direction and stick to it. Don't have some gel? Conditioner is a worthy trade-off if you're only wearing the look for a few hours.
