Bea Millan-Windorski is in the midst of preparing for the Miss Universe 2026 coronation night, set to take place in Puerto Rico this November, as she proudly wears the Philippines' sash across her chest. While she continues to hone her skills in every aspect of the competition—from perfecting her runway walk to sharpening her question-and-answer responses—the beauty queen also makes it a point to carve out time for self-care.

In conversation with Preview, Bea reveals the beauty practices she swears by for maintaining pageant-ready skin.

Bea Millan-Windorski’s Self-Care Rituals

Double cleanse every day.

Beauty queens typically use high-impact makeup products that can withstand the heat of lights, cameras, and, in Bea's case, the weather. "I wear a really heavy foundation throughout the day," she says. "Double cleansing helps make sure that my pores are clear."

For the uninitiated, the method involves washing the face twice in a row—first with an oil-based cleanser, then with a water-based cleanser. This helps ensure that the skin is free of makeup, sunscreen, oil, pollution, and other impurities that may compromise the skin's natural barrier.

Exfoliate every other day.

Bea admits that one of her common skin concerns is getting "pretty bad" blackheads on her nose. To address this, she likes to use "a high-quality exfoliant" that can clear them out easily.

Apart from unclogging pores, exfoliating the skin is also important for removing dead skin cells, brightening the complexion, and optimizing the absorption of the products in your skincare routine. Unlike cleansing, however, this doesn't have to be done every day. "I exfoliate every other day, so it doesn't dry out too much."

Have a weekly facial.

The young beauty queen makes time for a facial every week despite her busy schedule. More than just a skincare ritual, she sees it as an opportunity to slow down. "I'm really appreciative that I can really take that hour of self-care every week, and make sure that I'm checking in with myself," she says.

Bea shares that she visits the Belo Medical Group for her weekly facials. "It was one of the honors of my life to be named a Belo baby," she cheerfully tells Preview.

Spend time off the grid.

Having represented La Union in the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, Bea is naturally drawn to the outdoors. She shares that she prefers maintaining her tan complexion, and spending time outside helps her do just that. "I love being outside, whether it's hiking, surfing, or swimming."

Being off the grid is an important form of self-care for the 23-year-old, especially in today's digital age. She adds, "As much as I love living in a big city and being in the heart of Manila, being away from cellphone access and data is really nice because it gives you time to just sit with yourself."
