If you've already watched Hello, Love, Goodbye or at least seen Alden Richards recently on TV, then you might've noticed something a little different about him. But in case you haven't, perhaps these photos will keep you up to speed:
Right off the bat, you can tell that Alden has shed some volume on his face since the "before" shot was taken. His naturally round-shaped face now looks slimmer and more tapered, while his jawline appears more defined. Given that he's a fitness buff, one could easily assume that he lost a few pounds just by going to the gym—but mind you, this transformation actually involves more than just diet and exercise.
The actor has undergone a treatment from Belo called Ulthera for Men, a non-surgical procedure that uses ultrasound technology to help improve one's collagen production. It tightens and lifts the skin gradually within two to three months, helping define the shape of your face and address fine lines and loose skin.
In Alden's case, his main goal was to make his jawline more defined. "I've always had a puffy, round face ever since I started [show biz]," he says, adding that it's a feature that runs in his family. While it wasn't a big concern before, the actor felt that it got in the way of his fitness journey at his current age. "I go to the gym as much as I can [and] I diet a lot, but I don't get the results that I want, especially when it comes to my face," he explains.
After doing Ultherapy on top of his usual fitness routine, Alden noticed a big difference. "Of all the treatments I've done, this is the one that really worked on me, especially on my face [to define the] jawline and to have a smaller and [more] defined face [that's] much better for TV," admits the actor.
