Get your makeup done in just 10 minutes!

Following the skin care routines for hurried mornings, we’re completing it with a guide to help you get ushered out the door, face made, and with minutes to spare for the road. While it’s perfectly okay to go barefaced, there are days when highlighted cheekbones or a popping red lipstick can instantly make a difference on a work day. We know you don’t always have the luxury of time to perfect that winged flick, but you can still quickly apply some makeup just to enhance your features. Here’s what you can do in just 20 minutes or less!

20 Minutes

The trick to a long-lasting freshly made up face is a good base. Prime your face before applying liquid foundation then conceal your blemishes before setting your makeup with powder. Next, highlight and contour your features before adding some color to your cheeks. Don’t forget to groom your brows then add some eyeshadow before tight lining your lashline. Curl your lashes and swipe on a coat of mascara. Finish it off with your favorite lipstick!

Preview Tip: For easy application, use a wet beauty blender for your liquid foundation and then its dry part to blend in your concealer.

We recommend: Benefit Porefessional (P700, Trinoma) to minimize your pores and hide fine lines, and MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance (P3485, SM Megamall) to illuminate your skin and keep moisture locked in.

If you’ve got little time left to do your makeup, skip the primer and opt for a full coverage foundation. Apply concealer to hide the tiredness around your eyes and set it with powder. Strobe on a highlighter on the high planes of your face to add dimension, then add some blush on the apples of your cheeks. Fill in your brows to keep them on fleek before applying a coat of mascara. Add some gloss to your lips to complete your routine.

Preview Tip: Concentrate your foundation and concealer at the center of your face and blend outwards. This way, you’ll create a natural shade on the sides of your face to taper it the way a contour kit would do. Add a little more highlighter if you need to brighten up your face.

We recommend: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup (P3200, Rustan's Department Stores) as this lasts for 15 hours, without touch-ups! Try Clinique Beyond Foundation + Concealer (P1155, Shangri-La Plaza Mall) for a lightweight, velvety finish that allows your skin to breathe while hiding your obvious skin flaws.

Strip to the essentials if you’re pressed for time! Ditch the foundation and just conceal your blemishes and eyebags. Set in place with powder and then add some color to your face with some blush. Brush your brows and swipe a coat of mascara and then some lipstick!

Preview Tip:  You can save time by using products with dual purposes. Lip and cheek tints are quite popular but you can also use clear mascara for your lashes and to keep your brows in place for a no-makeup makeup look.

We recommend: 3CE Lip Pigment (P737, Sephora.com) for a vivid lip color and a blendable cheek color, plus CoverGirl Natural Lash Mascara (P640, Trinoma) for a hypoallergenic brow tamer and lash conditioner.
