Coleen Garcia, who is set to tie the knot this April, has been tight-lipped when it comes to the subject of her wedding gown. The bride-to-be told Pep.ph, "I can't reveal just yet. Siguro pag nai-uwi ko na 'yung gown [that's when I can talk about it], kasi siyempre hindi pa tayo sure [because] I haven't fit the gown yet."
Billy Crawford's future wife is scheduled to pick up her wedding gown this month in Hong Kong with her stylist Adrianne Concepcion and go-to hairstylist Renz Pangilinan. "I'm planning to go to Hong Kong this March, so that I could go fit my dress," she said. "And I have to stay there for about a week 'cause it takes a week to alter the dress so [instead of going back and forth], I'll stay there muna and wait for the dress."
When asked to describe what her wedding dress will look like, Coleen said it will most likely reflect her personality. "It doesn't have to be the prettiest, most stunning piece of clothing I own or anything," she stressed. "I just want it to be me."
She also added: "Kasi kahit gaano ka-ganda 'yung gown, if it's not suited for me, [if] it's not going to fit my personality, it's not going to [be the perfect] fit for the wedding."
The actress, however, noted that she's not really a fan of big ball gowns, which is why her wedding dress be simple. "I'm really not a big gown person. I just do that for, like, the Star Magic Ball just to try something new. But I'm really not fussy when it comes to gowns and all of that. I just want it to be simple," Coleen noted. "At the end of the day, I want it to be me."
