To show their support to President Rodrigo Duterte, the first family was present at this year's much-awaited State of the Nation Address—and as expected, his clan was clad in a Filipino designer.

Cebu-based designer Cary Santiago made a cobalt blue filipiniana for Mayor Inday Sara Dutere-Carpio and a bold red iteration for her mom, Elizabeth Zimmerman

Here's a closer look at Mayor Sara's SONA 2018 outfit:

Meanwhile, January Duterte, wife of Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, opted for an intricately-detailed filipiniana in an earthy shade, which she accessorized with a black and gold minaudière and a set of pearl stud earrings.

Baste Duterte and his girlfriend Kate Necesario were also in matching neutral-hued Cary Santiago looks. Both styled by Cath Sobrevega, Baste wore a traditional barong tagalog while Kate opted for a filipiniana with laser cut details.

The President himself was photographed in his barong minutes before he left to deliver his third State of the Nation Address. He was with daughter Veronica, who was sporting an all-red outfit, and her mother Honeylet Avanceña, who's wearing local designer Bobit Lagunera.

Meanwhile, Paolo Duterte chose a barong with a mandarin collar from Kultura and Mans Carpio opted for one made by Davao-based designer Silverio Anglacer. (But of course, Baste's quirky socks didn't escape our eyes!)
