Vice Ganda Is Powerful in Pink Wearing Anthony Ramirez at the Preview Ball 2026

The Preview Ball 2026 last September 10 saw the unveiling of the September cover, which served as the special 31st anniversary print issue of Preview Volume II. Fronting the book is none other than the Philippines’ “Unkabogable Box-Office Superstar,” Vice Ganda, who modeled deconstructed looks by this year’s Best Filipino Fashion Designers.

At Marriott Manila in Newport World Resorts, Vice arrived in all her glory, donning a multi-textural ensemble by her close friend and collaborator Anthony Ramirez.

Looking powerful in pink, Meme Vice was dressed in an off-shoulder mermaid gown crafted from two differently textured animal-skin finishes. A cowhide leather base was layered with draped accents of faux crocodile leather. Vice’s stylist, Aaron Mangsat, explains the inspiration behind the look, revealing its subtle political connotations. “The look utilizes crocodile skin as a sharp visual satire; a subtle nod to the enduring themes of power and political excess,” he tells Preview.

The choice of two striking shades of pink was not incidental, Aaron adds. The hue, after all, is closely associated with the comedian’s vibrant, larger-than-life persona. “The vivid pink palette draws immediate focus [to] Vice’s brand while the tailored construction seamlessly contours her curves,” the stylist says.

Anthony Ramirez, the designer behind the look, manipulated each sheet of fabric by hand, allowing the garment to lean into its deconstructed nature. “Every tear, seam, and edge was manipulated by hand,” Aaron adds.

Vice closed out the main program of the Preview Ball with the reveal of her cover. In the cover story, she talked about her humble beginnings as a comedian and the purpose she now finds in making people laugh.
