In case you missed it, the Eurovision Song Contest has officially touched down on our corner of the globe, and will be hosting its inaugural Asian edition on November 14, 2026.
As a nation that generates talented singers left and right, the Philippines held its Selection Night last August 30. Hosting such a star-studded event was none other than the country's most "unkabogable," Vice Ganda, who donned a series of outfits that reflected her larger-than-life persona. Styled by Aaron Mangsat, with Jelly Eugenio and Buern Rodriguez handling her makeup and hair respectively, the comedienne showcased looks proudly made by Southeast Asian couturiers.
Vice Ganda's Outfits at the "Eurovision Asia" Philippine Selection Night

As this is the first time the Philippines will be part of the Eurovision circuit, Vice made sure to showcase our national dress on the global platform. For her first outfit of the night, she donned an intricately-crafted Terno gown by Jaggy Glarino, which featured an outer cage made of metallic coils. Complementing the dress' golden hues was a statement necklace by Arnel Papa.

Next up, Vice was a fierce sight in a sculptural red ensemble by Vietnamese designer Nguyễn Tiến Truyển (who was the winner of Project Runway Vietnam 2015, FYI.) With additional design elements done by our very own Neric Beltran, the flora-inspired gown suited Vice perfectly.

Last but certainly not least, Vice closed out the night in an iridescent Le Thanh Hoa look. Also a piece of Vietnamese couture, the piece had a ball-gown skirt and jutted-out shoulders, shimmering with each layer of fringe and making meme a resplendent vision.
What to Know About "Eurovision Asia"
Vice proved to be a worthy emcee for such a historic night in OPM. The Eurovision Song Contest is somewhat the Olympics of music, having held a reputation as one of the world's most anticipated showcases. With its expansion to Asia, more regional talent are given the opportunity to display their artistry and passion.
As the program concluded last August 30, reality show alum Carmelle Collado was voted as our flag-bearer with her song "Sobra-Sobra." Written by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides, the track will be performed on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand as the Philippines' first-ever entry.
