Her Eurovision Asia song is “Sobra-Sobra.”

Carmelle will perform “Sobra-Sobra” in Bangkok, a dance-pop track written by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides. The song centers on the expectations placed on Filipinas and the idea of being labeled “too much” for being outspoken, ambitious, confident, or independent.

Carmelle performed the track against nine other entries during the Philippine selection. Her win was determined through a combination of professional jury votes, votes from viewers in the Philippines, and a Rest of the World vote, with each accounting for 40 percent, 40 percent, and 20 percent of the final score, respectively.
