The Exact Designer Bag Vice Ganda Gifted Esnyr from Her Closet

Vice Ganda is sharing the love, straight from her closet. The Unkabogable star recently gifted Esnyr a designer bag from her own wardrobe, giving the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) alum a stylish token of their friendship.

The gesture comes after the two first crossed paths inside the PBB house last year. During their touching encounter, Vice told Esnyr, “You can never be the next Vice Ganda. Because you can create your own path. And you will.”

Since then, Vice has remained by Esnyr’s side as he carves his own path in the industry. She cast the PBB alum in Jun Robles Lana’s award-winning film Call Me Mother and his star-studded online series First Day High. Their friendship extends off-screen, too, as Esnyr’s recent post shows.

Esnyr wrapped up September with a visit to Vice Ganda’s home, joined by Brent Manalo, Vince Maristela, Darren Espanto, Cianne Dominguez, and Ryan Bang.

The group spent the night dancing and having fun indoors, but Esnyr also got to browse every fashionista’s dream destination: Vice Ganda’s closet. Sharing the moment on Instagram Stories, Esnyr wrote, “Nagshopping sa closet [crying emojis],” followed by, “Thank u mother I love you!!!!!” He summed up the sweet gesture, writing that he felt “so spoiled and [so loved].”

It was none other than a Chanel LAX Pochette from 2006 to 2008, an era when the late creative director and fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld was still at the helm of the French luxury fashion house.

The petite carrier captures some of Chanel’s signature codes, from its square quilting and black-and-white colorway to its classic detailing. The leather bag is finished with silver hardware, giving the compact silhouette a polished finish that still feels current decades after its release.

The Chanel LAX Pochette dates back nearly two decades, making it difficult to get one’s hands on a brand-new piece. Those hoping to add one to their collection may have better luck in the secondhand market, where the bag can sell for $1,225, or around P76,800.
