Now who says you can’t wear designer to work?

“I really wanted to make pieces for the everyday woman. Women who have lives to live, work to finish, errands to run, and maybe even kids to take care of.”

This is what hot, young designer Tony Evan said when asked about his recent collection in partnership with luxe online shop, AVA.ph. As part of AVA’s collaboration project with Manila Fashion Festival, the company worked with Tony to heed our never-ending workwear needs. He is known for his showstopping creations that industry A-listers and celebrities can’t get enough of, but when Tony was given the opportunity to offer something new, he welcomed it with open arms and decided to take us somewhere unexpected. “Most of my clientele really come to me specifically for formal wear so this was my chance to make a wearable collection,” he shares.

If you loved his Fall/Winter 2016 offering, then there’s surely something for you in Tony Evan X AVA’s Workwear Reimagined. “We wanted to emphasize the fact that it’s really different from how one would think corporate wear should be. Traditional office attire is rigid and conservative, so we made fun of whimsical clothes that are still within the norms of acceptable dressing [but] with a touch of modernity and quirk."

Inspired by and created for the multi-faceted women who tackle work and play with utmost ease and elegance, this über-wearable and OOTD-worthy line is expected to have the designer's signature draping, form-fitting silhouettes, and universally flattering pieces. The details we usually look for in his designs are all expressed in this 33-piece collection.

“You only need to find your own style and find things that enhance your shape,” says Tony. The seven versatile separates in his collection are insanely easy to style and flattering on any body shape. You can easily rock them on their own, together, or paired with basics that you already have in your wardrobe.

“I’m excited to see women wear them to the office. I want my work to be used everywhere and for every woman to feel that they could have a piece of my work.”
