The photos of a recent fun shoot that she posted on Instagram had an ’80s bent that made us stop and take notice. Perched on her bed, pink-power-shouldered in a d.d. daily blazer and black leggings, a little accoutrement seemed to pop from each picture. Well, that little quilted wonder is Versace’s Virtus Quilted Belt Bag from the Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Yes, it’s a belt bag. It comes with a detachable belt so you can use it around your waist or with the chain strap on your shoulder. Closer inspection will show you that the serif-font V is decorated with a golden vine of leaves with a solitary bloom. Feminine and powerful all at once—definitely the brand’s house code.

This isn’t the first time Sarah’s styled a small belt bag with a blazer, we loved her take on it with a darker suit jacket before. That play on proportions, the miniature juxtaposed against the oversized, seems to be what makes it all come together into a picture-perfect ’fit.
