How We Styled the Sexbomb Girls for Their First-Ever Preview Cover
The pop culture icons channel the empowered woman in this month’s cover story.

Published on Mar 26, 2026
Fresh from a widely successful run of comeback shows, seven members of the Sexbomb Girls take the spotlight for Preview’s March 2026 cover story—an especially fitting feature in celebration of International Women’s Month.
In many ways, the group has long held its place as a defining pop culture force of the early 2000s. After nearly two decades away from the spotlight, the Sexbomb Girls have staged a compelling return, marked by a string of sold-out concerts in recent months.
For many of their nostalgic fans, their journey towards mounting the self-produced arena shows has been nothing short of inspiring. If anything, their return tells a story of women taking charge and fiercely in command of themselves.
Hence, for the editorial, it was only apt to have a fashion direction that best reflects where they stand today. Power dressing—expressed through precise tailoring—emerged as the natural direction.
The Fashion Direction for the Sexbomb Girls’ March 2026 Cover
Sharp, sleek, and sexy
"Sexy" is inseparable from the SexBomb identity. For this cover, it was important to keep that brand of sensuality present, albeit reframed.
Set against a boudoir-inspired, burlesque-leaning backdrop, the group appears in a lineup of sharply tailored, all-black ensembles. The mood leans sultry with a vintage mood, punctuated by a restrained yet assertive femme fatale energy.

The visual language centers on structure, balanced by form-fitting silhouettes and controlled reveals of skin.
Cynthia, Aifha, and Aira, for instance, appear in coordinated looks custom-made by Job Dacon—corseted blazers cut into daring mini lengths, each paired with a rounded, geometric headpiece.
Group leader Rochelle Pangilinan, meanwhile, wears a custom leather catsuit by Marian Zara, detailed with precise cutouts along the hips and waist. A trench coat from The RAJO Store introduces an added layer of structure, pulling the look altogether.
Across the board, that interplay between form and sexiness defines each ensemble.
Sunshine’s floor-grazing ORIAS coat is paired with mini shorts, Jopay’s ab-baring Patty Ang set is tempered by a blazer draped over the shoulders, while Mia reveals a subtle sliver of skin through a leather skirt by Marian Zara.
The power uniform
The second layout captures the group in motion, walking in unison against a backdrop of clouds and blue skies. To land the concept, the girls were styled in a cohesive “uniform”—a series of dark-toned power suits by Filipino labels ORIAS and Masanting Sasteria.

While the silhouettes remain consistent, variation comes through the suits’ fabric finishes. Subtle shifts in texture, alongside an assortment of printed neckties, kept the looks distinct without disrupting the overall cohesion.
Ultimately, the goal was to give each member their power dressing moment, all while maintaining a visually succinct look as they stood side by side.
