Sporty & Rich Opens Its Very First Pop-Up Store in the Philippines

The luxury athleisure brand has finally landed in Manila.

The wait is over— Sporty & Rich has touched down in the Philippines. The cult-favorite athleisure brand set up its very first pop-up at Power Plant Mall, Rockwell. It’s the brand’s official local debut, and those who’ve been eyeing its signature off-duty-meets-polished pieces can now see them up close.

Over time, the brand’s understated aesthetic has won over the “quiet luxury” crowd—including the likes of Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Culpo, Hailey Bieber, Marianna Hewitt, and Kelsey Merritt, to name a few.

Launched in 2014 by Filipino-Canadian author Emily Oberg, Sporty & Rich started as a digital mood board and print magazine filled with dreamy interiors, timeless style references, and snapshots of aspirational living.

Fast forward to a decade later, and it’s grown into a full-fledged lifestyle brand known for versatile, gender-neutral athleisure staples reminiscent of vintage sportswear. Beyond selling mere apparel, the luxury label also seeks to champion a slower, more intentional way of life.

“I want our products to be an extension of the aspirational life that I created in my mind,” says Emily Oberg in a press statement. “When you look at something we’ve made—a sweater, a jacket, a pair of socks—it’s my hope that you can envision a life around that object.”

The new Manila pop-up translates the brand’s ethos into an inviting space that encourages browsing, lingering, and discovering. From carefully chosen decor to a well-edited product lineup, every touchpoint reflects the brand’s belief in style with intention.

Sporty & Rich Manila is now open at R2, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell, Makati City—a fresh space for those who like their fashion timeless, unfussy, and casually luxurious.
