Her first design is a denim jacket we're already itching to buy.

Solenn Heussaff's list of achievement as an artist just keeps on growing. From painting exhibits to releasing her own fitness book, she's pretty much done it all!

This time around, the It girl is coming up with a brand new clothing line! She recently posted several teasers for a design project she's currently working on. The line will be a collaboration that involves her, her sister (and designer) Vanessa Heussaff-Small, and Cebu-based fashion designer Mia Arcenas.

To find out more about the project, Solenn talked to Preview about what to expect from it.

"I have been wanting to do a clothing line for a while since I used to be in fashion," says the actress. "My sister, Vanessa, has also been wanting to do something Pinoy with me since we're both into the arts. [On the other hand,] Mia is known for her flowy silk dresses, and since we have become friends we thought it would nice to work [together] with no timeline. We started working about a year ago, and we finally have our first samples!"

On her social media accounts, Solenn posted the first sample from the collab. She shared this light-wash denim jacket covered in floral embroidery with the Philippine eagle in a unique colorway at the back. Below the eagle is the word "hayop," which literally means "animal" in English. And if that doesn't scream proudly Pinoy to you, we don't know what will!

According to Solenn, she is working with Mia for the clothes design and with Vanessa for the art. "We are also printing our own patterns so that everything will be unique," she adds. And if you're curious about the rest of the collection, the It girl reveals—"I love everything comfy so most of our collection will be travel jackets, and all embroideries will be based on everything Filipino. We are also mostly going to create one of a kind pieces that will have beadings, too."

The target launch for the line is October this year, so make sure to watch this space for updates!
