We picked out the most fuss-free heels for your big day.

Picture this: Your wedding day rolls around, and everything is going perfectly. There's not a mishap in sight, and it's practically heaven on earth. Then, an hour into the ceremony, your feet start to hurt—your toes feel choked, your muscles are strained, and you're dangerously close to tripping. Yup, that's what we want to avoid. Bridal dresses are often given the spotlight, but the shoes you choose are just as important. When prepping for your big day, make sure that you pick elegant steppers that are comfortable, breathable, and, of course, beautiful.

We've picked out 10 white (and off-white) heels that promise more comfort than the usual pair, and will still be wearable post-wedding. Take a look below:

1. Aldo Kedeaviel Heels

With these ankle straps, you won't have to worry about having a Cinderella moment—that is, finding that your shoe had slipped off at some point during your walk down the aisle. The band at the front is wide and sturdy, and the ivory block heel—which actually has a metallic panel on the front-facing side—is in a reliable, squarish block shape.

2. Balenciaga Square Knife Pumps

Hear us out: This Balenciaga shoe might look dangerous, but it's reportedly so well-constructed that you'll be able to last 12 hours in it. Of course, if you're not a heels girl, you'll want to steer clear of pointy toes, (especially ones that are as pointy as this), but if you're already very used to heels, this one ought to be a delight. You'll get a fierce sexy heel without the extra pain.

3. Bottega Veneta Lido Sandals

You can never go wrong with cushioned slip-on heels. The woven design is simply gorgeous, and provides classy detailing to an otherwise simple shoe. Bottega Veneta heels are notable for their non-slip rubber soles, which will protect you from slipping on marble or particulary slippery aisles—if you zoom in on the photo, you'll see the rubber circles on the sole.

4. Charles & Keith Linen Sculptural Slingback Pumps

Here's a shoe that ticks all the boxes of a comfy heel: a low heel, a closed-toe design, and a supporting strap. This pair from Charles & Keith comes in a creamy linen texture, making it the best accessory for an off-white bohemian wedding dress. As you can see, it also features a sculptural gold heel, which adds to its appeal.

5. Dune London Montanna

Need a bit more texture? Opt for a croc skin pair like this one from Dune London. It comes in a warm vanilla shade, but can pass as a very clean white. The low heel and wide x-shaped strap make this an easy wear—you won't have to change out of them for the reception!

6. Dior J'ADior Slingback Pumps

The J'ADior Slingback Pumps come in three heel heights: 10 cm, 6.5 cm, and 1 cm. This one is the 6.5 cm variation. It's high enough to be considered a delicate heel, but low enough to dance in. Due to its bold logo, this pair is certainly for more modern, unconventional brides, but it's a good investment since it is also a desirable day shoe.

7. Hue Manila

Those who are absolutely terrified of the wedding shoe not being secure enough should consider a gladiator sandal. The skinny straps are very chic, but can easily be hidden by an opaque, long gown. That block heel, too, is foolproof.

8. Miista Sally Crab

As it turns out, funky noodle straps do have their place in weddings. Brides looking for unique statement shoes will love this one! It has an extended square toe pad, meaning that toes will not slip forward and touch the floor after an extended period of wear. The flute heel offers a slender silhouette without the danger and wobbliness of a needle-thin stiletto. All in all, this is quite the lovely pair.

9. Milli Label Jomie

Still in doubt? Fully commit to comfort and get a pair with a massive wooden block heel, a super-secure ankle strap, and a wide toe strap. Compared to the other pairs in this list, the wooden block heel is definitely a statement, which makes this shoe perfect for garden-themed or rustic weddings.

10. Primadonna

There's no denying that thong sandals can be sexy and flattering. The only problem is that they don't offer enough support, and can easily become rickety if the straps are not stiff enough. This pair, however, features an ankle strap for that needed brace.
