In another Pretty Woman moment to add to the list, Sharon Cuneta has recently vlogged a moment when she was prohibited from entering an Hermès store abroad.
The megastar documented the incident during a family trip to South Korea, as she strolled around a luxury department store in Seoul. In a clip shot from afar, the vlog captured a moment when she was turned away from an Hermès boutique.
Because of this, the 56-year-old opted to venture into Louis Vuitton instead, where she was gifted bottles of champagne while perusing the store.

After expressing her gratitude to the luxury shop’s sales associates—and recounting her career as an entertainer in the Philippines—Sharon left the store with bags upon bags of Louis Vuitton purchases.
On the way out, she passed by Hermès and said, “Tingnan mo, nagpunta ako dito para lang bumili ng sinturon sa Hermès, ayaw ako papasukin.”
En route, Sharon also noticed Hermès’ doorperson who turned her away. “No more,” she said, pointing to her bags of Louis Vuitton purchases. “Look, I [bought] everything!”
This isn’t the first time that Sharon experienced a similar case while shopping at luxury stores abroad. The veteran actress had previously revealed that this happened to her at least three times—one being at a Cartier shop in Hong Kong. Dressed in a shirt and jeans, Sharon politely inquired about an item but was rudely cut off by a sales representative.
Her daughter KC Concepcion also encountered a similar situation at a Saint Laurent store in Los Angeles, California, where a salesperson emphasized the expensive price tag of the bag she eyed. Other celebrities have also opened up about this discrimination, including Regine Velasquez in New York and Jessy Mendiola in Paris.
