2020 was very significant for Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez. The couple finally tied the knot in March last year, holding an intimate ceremony with select family and friends. While the original plan for their wedding was a grander affair, the pandemic forced them to postpone any lavish celebration.
Fast forward to April 2021 and we’re all experiencing yet another lockdown, almost around the same time as last year. Luckily, Richard and Sarah were able to celebrate their first wedding anniversary before the heightened travel restrictions were imposed. Their destination of choice? Nay Palad in Siargao.
We all know how much the stunning pair loves the beach, so it came as no surprise that they picked the hottest surf spot in the country for their special date. Traveling light, with mostly swimsuits and breezy dresses in tow, Sarah looked stunning in all her #latepost OOTDs for the ‘gram.

1. For their flight to Siargao, Sarah opted for a cozy beige bomber jacket that coincidentally matched her honey blonde locks! A great choice for a chilly plane ride.
2. We love this mismatched bikini look! The yellow bandeau from Abyss swimwear was paired with high-waist black bottoms for a flattering beach 'fit.
3. For a sweet candlelit dinner with her hubby, Sarah opted for this smocked white dress from local brand Lema, which she accessorized with a statement necklace. FYI, her frock is reversible, too!
4. She also wore another white dress for a romantic beach rendezvous with Richard.
5. Brights seem to be the actress’ color palette of choice for the trip! She sported another bandeau bikini set in neon green from her favorite local designer Boom Sason.
6. She wore another set from Boom in vibrant purple for a stroll around Nay Palad. Also check out her Issa the Brand printed scarf, which she used as a makeshift sarong.
7. To cap off the romantic evening, this set of ribbed co-ords in sage green looked both cozy and cool. The muted hue is definitely one of the trendiest shades for the summer.
8. For a day out surfing, Sarah went with another sporty set from Boom Sason. We particularly love her one-shoulder top in turquoise that matches her surfboard!
