Dolce & Gabbana may have had Lady Kitty Spencer grace their Fall 2018 presentation, but Kim Jones (Dior Homme's artistic director) definitely upped the ante by putting an eligible, young prince as part of his model roster.
Prince Nikolai was cast by Kim Jones to pay homage to his Scandinavian roots and to honor his Danish mother.
Meet Prince Nikolai (Nikolai William Alexander Frederik) of Denmark, he made his second catwalk appearance on the Dior Homme runway for their Pre-Fall 2019 presentation.
The Prince is seventh in line to the Danish throne and is the oldest grandson of Queen Margrethe. He is the oldest son of Prince Joachim and former wife Alexandra, the Hong Kong-born Countess of Frederiksborg. His parents divorced in 2005 and he has three siblings: Prince Felix and half-siblings Prince Henrik and Princess Athena from his father's second marriage to Princess Marie.
Prince Nikolai recently launched his modeling career in 2018 with Denmark-based agency Scoop Models. In the same year, he booked the starring role on the Burberry catwalk with Cara Delevigne.
