Wardrobe staples have become a trademark for each candidate that runs for public office. For Sen. Grace Poe it’s her white A-line shifts and crisp button-downs. For Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas it’s the same “Cory yellow” pique shirt which he and P.Noy also sported during their last election campaign. And for leading candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, it’s striped or plaid shirts casually tucked into his slacks. But when one of these candidates finally assumes the presidency, expect to see a change of wardrobe that is more apt for the needs of this new role they are to take on.
Scrolling through our Facebook feed, we came across designer Nicky Roa’s interesting take on the presidential candidates as he dressed them up in designer garb fresh from the Fall 2016 runways. Take a look.

Picture her wearing this as she descends from the presidential plane on a state visit to Germany. #Power
