You know how there’s always that one person who can do no wrong? Think Mean Girls' Regina George who totally made boob cutouts (originally meant as sabotage) work. Olivia Palermo is something like that. If you remember, she wore a sweater to her wedding and rather than give her a nasty side-eye, the world celebrated her effortless style. It’s like everything she touches turns into cashmere!! We’re not surprised that brands are willing to shell out good money just to get that Olivia P. stamp. She may not have 43.7 million followers like Taylor Swift on IG, but her 2.4M follow her for a reason.
Below, a few of her most successful collaborations - half of which have charitable components. Isn't she just perfect?
Olivia Palermo X Aspinal
Earlier this year, Olivia teamed up with UK luxury lifestyle brand, Aspinal. Bringing technology and charity together, a limited-edition tote bag equipped with iPhone and iPad chargers were sold based on the design of their classic Marylebone. The best part? A hundred percent of the sales of the Marylebone TechTote went to ADCAM, a charity that develops cooperation and social responsibility initiatives in the Masai Mara region.
Olivia Palermo X Stuart Weitzman
Another charitable collab Olivia has been a part of was the Ovarian Cancer research of Harvard professor Marsha Moses. In 2011, along with other celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Trachtenberg, Olivia teamed up with Stuart Weitzman to design a pair for the cause. Hers was a satin stripy sandal decked out with fuchsia feathers—of course.
Olivia Palermo X Aquazurra
She helped design an entire capsule collection with Italian cult brand, Aquazurra. Designer Edgardo Osorio shared, "We wanted to create a capsule collection of the styles every woman needs in her closet, interpreted with the Aquazzura aesthetic and seen through the eyes of Olivia.” From metallic leather steppers to chic lace-up gladiators and even knee-high suede booties, it was a shoe match made in heaven.
Olivia Palermo X Westward Leaning
Who doesn’t want to look like that?
A big suporter of budding brands, Olivia teamed with Westward Leaning to add a dash of O.P. charm to their universally flattering designs. Inspired by her extensive travels, she came up with eight unique designs defined by muted gold reflective lenses. Not convinced by her selling power? The owners themselves revealed that the It girl brought in more sales to the company than Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez combined. Sorry, Jelena.
When your hubby is equally flawless, you get to bag titles such as Guest Editors for Tommy Hilfiger. The two were tasked to put their own twists to the classic American brand by picking out their favorites and styling the Summer 2015 line.
The most recent collaboration of the It girl was with Ciaté where she finally dabbled in cosmetics. What started off as a couple of nail lacquers is now an ultra chic 11-piece makeup line.
We won't be surprised if she collabs with a pet leash brand next and they end up selling like hotcakes. Isn't that right, Mr. Butler?
